Betonia

Die Betonia hat ihren Namen nach einer berühmten Egyptienne oder
Slab Serif: der Beton. Die gibt es immer noch, und sie ist ein
schwergewichtiger Typ ihrer Gattung. Egytiennes waren Geschwister
der ersten Sans Serif-Schriften, die zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts
entstanden. Weil Napoleon gerade seine ägyptischen Feldzüge hinter
sich gebracht hatte, bekamen die neuen Schriften diesen
Gattungsbegriff.
Die Betonia wurde mit einem Stift aufs Wacom pad geschrieben und zwar
von dort direkt auf den Monitor und in den  Fontographer (Macromedia)
übertragen. Für den Fall, dass Sie mal eine starke Aussage durch
eine dicke Schrift visualisieren wollen.

Beton is still available, it's a heavy weight font.
Egyptian typefaces were related to the first Sans Serif fonts in the
beginning of the 19th century. The name Egyptian is derived from
its use in a publication about booty from Napoleon's Egyptian
campaign.

Betonia was made with the Wacom pen and pad and Macromedia Fontographer.
In case you want to lay emphasis on a message this heavy typeface will be
helpful.
